I love hearing what my former LSAT students are doing in law school and beyond. Alex Barnett took a class from me and is now doing amazing things at Berkeley Law School. Alex Barnett is a second-year law student at Berkeley Law School, where he is an active member of the student community, and looks for ways to stay connected with the reason he wanted to attend law school: public service. He is the Managing Editor of the Berkeley Journal of African-American Law & Policy, co-representative of his class in the Boalt Hall Student Association, and a member of the Berkeley Veterans Assistance Project.
After law school, Alex plans to have a career in criminal prosecution. In the long-term, however, he plans on returning to his true career passion: working on legislation to effect positive change for the people of his home state of California. In his free time, Alex likes to run in the Berkeley Hills, golf, pursue the amateur study of history and nature, and play saxophone for the Class Act Big Band.
Thanks for sharing what you're doing, Alex. Good luck as you finish law school!
